About Olivier Bliek

Olivier started taking pictures at the age of 12. He primarily focused on landscape and wildlife photography. When he finished high school he went to Amsterdam to study photography. Here he was inspired by classmates to also appreciate other forms of photography such as portraiture and fashion. Now many years later he has specialized in these latter genres of photography.

For his work he draws inspiration from a myriad things, such as cinematography, dreams and art.  Additionally, he is fascinated by Jungian psychology and often incorporates Jungian themes in his photography as a way of acquiring a better understanding about both himself and the world around him.

He is currently based in Utrecht in the Netherlands and available for commisions.
